Dr Dre says that Eminem’s upcoming album is nearing completion.

“Em is finishing up his project.”
Dr. Dre’s empire continues to grow, but he hasn’t forgotten about his first love, music. The hip-hop tycoon is back in the lab.
After putting Detox on hold, Dre has returned to the music scene. “I’ve just gotten inspired to go back in the studio, so I’m really just having fun with life and having fun being creative and just trying some new and different things with myself,” he said during a phone call with “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” on Power 106.
While he’s been pre-occupied with other ventures, music will always remain his passion. “As you know, it’s been almost 30 years for me in music, so it’s a little bit difficult to keep getting inspired to get back in there. But music is my first love and I’m gonna continue to do that as long as I can.”
He also revealed that Eminem’s album is nearing completion. “Em is finishing up his project,” said Dre.
In a previous interview with Billboard, Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg said that Em’s first solo project in three years is due post-Memorial Day.
In addition to music, Dre has been busy working on a Beats music subscription service, which is set to launch at the end of the year.

Eminem - Til I collapse

“Cause sometimes, you just feel tired. Feel weak. And when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up. But you gotta search within you. You gotta find that inner strength, and just pull that shit out of you. And get that motivation to NOT give up and NOT be a quitter. No matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.”

‎Rihanna on Eminem when they worked on “Numb” and how it’s different from their previous songs they made.

The moment I worked with him on “Love the Way You Lie,” I wanted to work with him again, and we did “Love the Way You Lie Part 2.” And then I wanted to work with him again. [Laughs.] I just love working with Eminem. He’s just one of my favorite rappers, and his lyrics—he’s a true poet, and I enjoy that about him. For this song, I needed someone with not only his skill, but his personality. And I needed someone who really understands the perspective and the metaphor in the song of going numb and being numb to everything around and to say, “Fuck you.” Eminem is definitely the perfect guy for that.

Skylar Grey admits being nervous to work with Eminem and also talks about him working on the her upcoming album.

“I was really nervous when I first met him but then I came to realize that he’s super cool,”…“He makes fun of me and makes me laugh a lot.”
“That can be a tough thing to do when you write a lot of songs. And then making suggestions of where he thinks I can improve bits,”…“[He's] doing whatever he thinks will add to the project. It’s awesome to have somebody there that I can trust to bounce stuff off of and get good feedback.”

‎50 Cent talks about “My Life” & “The Champions” ft. Eminem:

On Eminem’s monstrous verse on “My Life”:
“See, I left ['My Life'] (in the studio) and I didn’t stay there. If you leave Eminem, it’ll turn into a complete Eminem record – he’s gonna make it his regardless. He would have remembered 16 as a mark to stop if I’d have been there, but because he was going off and into it, he just kept going and made it to about 24 bars before he actually stopped rapping and it felt good so there was no reason to edit it.”
On the second Eminem collabo, titled “The Champions” (Fifty had previously declared the song’s title to be ‘The Champion’) on his upcoming Street King Immortal album, due out in Spring 2013:
“We actually recorded it in Detroit. Em was set on this record.. he made some mentions (in the song)… some of the people he has a lot of respect for in music culture. I didn’t want to repeat that.”
